What inspired you to become a farmer?
I've always loved being outdoors and working with my hands, so farming seemed like a natural fit for me. I also have a great appreciation for the environment and the role that agriculture plays in sustaining it.
What's your favorite part of farming?
I love the sense of satisfaction that comes with growing something from start to finish. Whether it's planting a seed and watching it grow into a thriving plant, or raising a young animal and seeing it mature into a healthy adult, there's nothing quite like the feeling of accomplishment that comes with a successful harvest.
What challenges do farmers face?
Farming is a challenging and unpredictable profession. Farmers must contend with a wide variety of factors that are largely outside of their control, including weather, pests, and market fluctuations. It requires a lot of hard work, determination, and resilience to succeed in this line of work.
What advice would you give to someone who wants to become a farmer?
I would encourage anyone who is interested in farming to pursue their passion and never give up. It can be a tough and often thankless job, but it's also incredibly rewarding. Take the time to learn as much as you can about the industry and seek out mentors who can offer guidance and support along the way.
How do you balance farming and making YouTube videos?
It can be challenging at times to balance my farming responsibilities with my YouTube channel, but I've found that the two actually complement each other quite nicely. My farming experiences provide me with a wealth of material for my videos, and my videos help to raise awareness about the important work that farmers do. I also have a great team of employees who help me to manage the day-to-day operations of the farm so that I can focus on creating content for my channel.
Do you have any plans to expand your farming business?
Yes, I'm always looking for new ways to grow and expand my business. Currently, I'm exploring the possibility of adding new crops and livestock to the farm to diversify our offerings and reach new markets. I'm also working on developing new partnerships and collaborations that will help me to continue growing my brand and reaching new audiences.
What's the biggest misconception about farming?
I think one of the biggest misconceptions about farming is that it's an outdated and unprofitable industry. In reality, modern agriculture is a high-tech and highly efficient field that is constantly evolving and improving. Today's farmers are using cutting-edge technology and innovative practices to grow more food with less resources than ever before.
What's your favorite thing to grow?
I love growing a wide range of crops, but I have a particular fondness for potatoes. They're a versatile and nutritious crop that can be used in a variety of different dishes, and they're relatively easy to grow compared to some other crops.
